- Find a stem from the plant without a flower on.
- Use secateurs to cut just under a leaf node.
- You want your cutting to be about 1 foot long maybe a bit more.
- Remove all of the leaves except the ones at the top.
- Now dig a trench in your garden where you want to plant the rose bush.
- Pop the cutting into the trench, burying 4-5 inches of the stem.
- Cover over with soil and water thoroughly.
- Keep an eye on them and you will soon see growth.
