Ingredients:
- Veggie sausages, cooked and chopped (you can use regular meat sausages if you would rather)
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tin chopped tomatoes
- A handful of basil, chopped
- 5 frozen balls of kale
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 300g pasta, cooked
- Cheddar, grated (optional)
Method:
- This recipe is ideal for leftover sausages, but if you haven’t got any left that are already cooked, just pop some in the oven for however long it says on the pack. You can use regular sausages for this recipe instead of vegetarian.
- Once the sausages are cooked, slice them into chunks.
- Fry off the onion until soft.
- Add the garlic and cook for a further 1 minute.
- In a large oven-proof dish add the sausages, onion, garlic, chopped tomatoes, balls of kale, chilli powder and pasta.
- Give it a good mix and sprinkle over the grated cheese.
- Whack it in the oven until the cheese is melted and golden.
- Serve up and enjoy.
