Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 100g caster sugar
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 125g butter/margarine
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 150g plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 75g chocolate chips

Pre-heat the oven on 180c

Method:

  1. Cream the butter, sugar and vanilla together.
  2. Stir in the egg, flour, baking powder and chocolate chips.
  3. Mix until it forms a sticky dough.
  4. Spoon onto a lined baking tray (I use an ice cream scoop to get them all the same size).
  5. Freeze and then then bake from frozen for 10-15 minutes (time depends on your oven.. mine take ages as our oven is from the 70s).

Tip: Keep these in a zip lock bag in your freezer for instant cookies whenever you want them!
