Ingredients:
(For the Cake)
- 2 cups plain flour
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk
(For the Lava Sauce)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 3 cups boiling water
Method:
- Line your slow-cooker with grease-proof paper, making sure it goes up the sides.
- In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Make a well in the middle and pour in the melted butter, vanilla, and milk.
- Stir until well combined.
- Pour into the slow cooker.
- In another bowl, combine the brown sugar and cocoa powder. Sprinkle this mixture over the cake batter that is in the slow-cooker.
- Gently pour the boiling water over the top.
- Place the lid on and cook on low for 3-4 hours or until the cake is cooked.
- Serve & Enjoy.
