Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 oz unsalted butter, cut into pieces
- 8 oz chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans (or whatever nuts you have to hand)
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Method:
- Line your slow-cooker with some grease-proof paper. Making sure it goes up the sides a bit.
- Place butter and chopped chocolate in a medium Pyrex bowl and melt either in the microwave or over a pan of simmering water (as I show you in my video below)
- Add sugar to chocolate mixture and whisk to combine.
- Whisk in eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Fold in pecans and chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into your lined slow-cooker, smoothing out the top with a rubber spatula.
- Cover and cook on Low for 3 1/2 hours.
- Remove insert from crockpot and place on a wire rack to cool completely.
