For Vanilla Buttercream
- 400g icing sugar
- 225g margarine/butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For Coffee Buttercream
- 400g icing sugar
- 225g margarine/butter
- 2 tsp instant coffee, dissolved into 1 tsp boiling water
For Chocolate Buttercream
- 400g icing sugar
- 225g margarine/butter
- 1 tbsp Nutella or 50g coco powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract or 2 tsp instant coffee, dissolved into 1 tsp boiling water (optional)
Method:
For all flavours, simply…
- Sieve the icing sugar into a bowl.
- Add in the butter and flavouring (ie. vanilla, coffee etc)
- And give it a good mix with your handheld mixer until smooth and creamy!
