Ingredients:
- 150g self-raising flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 egg
- 240ml milk
Method:
- Pre-heat your waffle maker (this is the one i have https://amzn.to/2PiNVWI)
- Pop the flour, baking powder and sugar into a large bowl. (TIP: I like to use a bowl that has a lid, that way I can easily whack any leftover batter in the fridge for the next day! https://amzn.to/31pUGfh < Bowls with lids)
- Add the milk and egg and whisk until smooth. (It will be thicker than regular pancake mix)
- Once your waffle maker has heated up, pour the batter into it. My waffles take 5 minutes to cook but this may vary depending on what waffle maker you have. Basically you just want it cooked and golden.
Note: Jamie’s recipe says it makes 6 waffles, i have a feeling it will only make 3 for me, but maybe his waffle maker is smaller? I will keep you posted and update this when I’ve used up the rest of the batter.
