Ingredients:

  • 150g self-raising flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 240ml milk

Method:

  1. Pre-heat your waffle maker (this is the one i have https://amzn.to/2PiNVWI)
  2. Pop the flour, baking powder and sugar into a large bowl. (TIP: I like to use a bowl that has a lid, that way I can easily whack any leftover batter in the fridge for the next day! https://amzn.to/31pUGfh < Bowls with lids)
  3. Add the milk and egg and whisk until smooth. (It will be thicker than regular pancake mix)
  4. Once your waffle maker has heated up, pour the batter into it. My waffles take 5 minutes to cook but this may vary depending on what waffle maker you have. Basically you just want it cooked and golden.

Note: Jamie’s recipe says it makes 6 waffles, i have a feeling it will only make 3 for me, but maybe his waffle maker is smaller? I will keep you posted and update this when I’ve used up the rest of the batter.
