Ingredients:
- 1 can of chickpeas (200/240g)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp lazy garlic (2 garlic cloves)
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- Salt
- 4 tbsp water
- a drizzle of olive oil
- a dusting of ground paprika
Method:
- Drain and rinse off the chickpeas, place a few chickpeas to one side to put on top of the hummus at the end.
- In your food processor (or a bowl in my case) place the chickpeas, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, salt and water.
- Blitz (with your hand blender, if you don’t have a food processor) until it becomes a smooth puree.
- Taste the hummus and add more of anything you think it needs.
- Put the hummus in a serving dish, drizzle over some olive oil, sprinkle with paprika and the few chickpeas you put to one side.
Serve with warm pitta breads and enjoy!
