Slow-Cooker Pulled Pork

Ingredients:

  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 pint chicken stock
  • 1 tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2kg boneless pork shoulder

Method:

  1. Place the onions, garlic and stock into the slow-cooker.
  2. Mix the spices and sugar together in a small bowl and use it as a rub for the pork.
  3. Once the pork is coated in the rub, place it into the slow-cooker on top of the onions.
  4. Cook on Medium for 8-9 hours.
  5. Serve up in buns with apple sauce and enjoy!
